Topic: FPGA as ethernet controller?

Is it possible to use the FPGA in the novena as an ethernet controller for the ports already present on the board?

The Ethernet ports are wired to the CPU, as far as I know, so the answer is unfortunately no. I guess one could design and produce an Ethernet Shield for the FPGA.
